children go to other people’s houses and sing a song about Jesus. People have
to give them money or something to eat.
We usually eat with
our families.

family. The most typical dish is turkey filled with rice. The typical
desserts are melomakarono and kurabies.

(New Year’s Eve)

give them money or something to eat.
We have dinner all
together.
At 00.00 we kiss
each other and sing a song about the New Year.
We eat a dessert.
Inside there is a coin. The one who wins the coin will have good luck.
